Fruits Enzyme

On 19.5.09, we have prepared 30kg of fruits skin, 10kg of brown sugar and 100 liter of water to make the enzyme. This is one of our project to save the earth. As we all know, the fruits skin are waste and if we just throw away, it was rubbish. By using them to make enzyme, we can reduce the waste and at the same time the end product-enzyme can be used as dish cleaner, natural insecticide, neutralize the pesticide in the vegetable by soaking the in the enzyme solution for 45 minutes.

Hence, our teachers has collected the fruits skin such as pineapple skin, orange skin and lemon skin to make the enzyme. The correct proportion is :

Fruits skin 1
Brown sugar 3
Water 10

All children were gathered in the lobby on that day to see the process of making the enzyme. Some are also involved in stirring the mixture. We have to keep the mixture for 3 months to produce the enzyme. So, we have to wait until 18.8.09 !
