Last two years, QQ has organised Drama Competition and this year we desided to give a change. On 23rd OCtober, Saturday, children from 3 branches Pg, SP and Kulim were presented in Bukit Jambul Complex in Penang. QQ talent Time was organised to let children to show their talent. Children present dance, readers, story telling, Flash Card, poem recitation, playing musical instrument etc. It was nice to see so many children gethered and present confidently on the stage and this is what we want ! Present without fear and enjoy the process!

With a shopping list and RM10, our K1 & K2 students went shopping at Giant to get the things they need from various departments! This was one of the thematic activity that educate children to spend wisely by comparing price, know the name of various department such as toiletries department, frozen department, stationery department and grocery department. Childrren were really enjoyed the trip as they can make decision on what to buy. At the end of the day, each of them brought back some stationeryand groceries item for mummy!

QQ Sports day

Last year we cancell the sports day due to H1N1. This year, the sports day is back!

QQ Sports day was on 28th August 2010! On that Sunny day, parents wearing sports attire with their children is ready for a sweat out!

As usual , we have 100m racing, telematch for children and the most enjoyable game is the telematch that involved parents! Teamwork is needed and all parents work together to do the final art pieceWe Love QQ!

Some of the work done by our children attending the origami and creative art & craft class. They enjoyed the class very much as they have a chancce to do thier work as they wish with their own creativity! The creative art class is from 1.30pm to 2.30pm every Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. Interested to join, just register with the teacher!

Wishing Well Raising Fund Project

From August 2010 to September 2010, QQ will help Penang Adventist Hostpital to raise fund for children who are less fortunate and in need of corrective heart surgery. This project is a joint project between Penang Adventist Hospital and Rotary Club. What QQ do is to place a mini wishing well in the school and children can bring coin daily , make a wish and put the coin in the well. Once the well is full, we will donate the money to the hospital.

We hope by doing this, children will learn to do charity from young. Cultivate the value of caring to others and help others who are less fortunate !

QQ have 5 students participated in the contest, Wei Heng won third prize, Sean Lim, Wei Khang, Yi Ern and Xin Tian won consultaion prize. Congratulations and well done!

Do I look smart?

Landmark Central has launched lts Kid's Club last Saturday 26th June2010. QQ students were invited to performed on this special occasion. Our students performed Belly dance, cowboy dance, my oh my dance and keyboard presentation.

The club was officiated by Pn Rohana, pegawai Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat. The objective of the club is to let children to expose to different activities that can enhance their creativity. Enrolment fee is RM15 per year and children can take part in all activities organized by the club at special rate!

There is also prize giving ceremony for children who won in mother's day card making contest.

How tsunami is formed.

Last Stop of the day is Science Center next to Paddy Muzeum. The science center is big and equipped with all types of science apparatus. Children can experience how Tsunami, earthquake and turnado are formed, watch 3D show, mountain climbing and try many science experiments! It was really fun and children enjoyed themselves there!

A field trip will allow children to expose to many new knowledge, experience new things and time for interaction with friends and teachers. They will also learn to be independant ! QQ hopes to plan more trip for our little children in the future!
