Group Photo!Today, 20 students of QQ have a happy get together with Penang handicapped children. The objective of the visit is to expose our students to children with multiple handicaps so that they will learn the value of gratitude and empathy.
The principal of the center, Puan Katijah gave us a warm welcome by serving us delicious Ayer Itam Fried bihun. Then, QQ children perform a dance for the handicapped children. We are surprised that the children there are so friendly and they joined us for the dance!
They even perform a dance "sugar" ! We can see they are happy meeting us and they have a short time interacting with our children.
Puan Katijah told us that the centre receives annual grant from Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat and depends largely on donation from private sector. We understand that they need to buy tables and chairs for the secondary students and need public donation.
QQ will help them by spreading the news to the parent and hopefully we can get some donation for the center!
